hi all.
ive got a eg4, bought it stock 1.5 d15b2 automatic.

done engine swop b16a1 manual trans.

we put the obd1 loom in (engine and dash).

car starts, drives etc but.. when i put the headlights on..

the dash lights dont work, the indicators lights stay on (on the dash only), rpm doesnt work, mph doesnt work, windows don't work, fuel and temp doesnt work well they do but both show full, wipers doesnt work and i cant indicate.. car still runs fine though.

connected a switch to wiper wire so they work via switch now but i dont understand why all the other stuff happens.

oh and heaters dont work at all.

i searched for similar faults but couldnt find anything..

please help

 

The first thing I would look at are all the grounds. Did you touch any of the dash wiring when you did the swap?

 

DASH HARNESS GROUNDS MAY NOT BE CONNECTED

 

Clean and tighten G201 and G401 (behind left kick panel). Also check for broken wires attached to these grounds.
