Hi, I have heard that Hondamotorsonline.com is a good place to get engines from, possibly the best, but does anyone know where they are located? I heard that they moved facilities recently and I already have my H22A on order. The address they gave me doesn't seem to work on Mapquest.com and their old address from their website looked like a house address or something because I was up in Arleta and couldn't even find the place. Does anyone know where they are exactly located in California or if anyone could provide directions coming from SD/5 North? It'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

they are a great place to get motors from. Im not sure where they are. in cali somewhere. so obviously i didtn pick mine up seeing that im in ga. but they have great service...

 

hey sup, i've lived in arleta for the last 17 years or so (and i still live here).

i was about to say that there are hardly any businesses with an arleta address (at least automotive-wise). i checked their website for their old address in arleta. According to the map, it's in a region of houses. There are no businesses in that area (there are automotive businesses on that street at both major intersections in either direction.

The shortest route would be to go 5-north, exit sheldon st., and make a left (there's no light and it's a big street, so be careful). The houses are on the left.
The sheldon exit exits on laurel canyon (so you're there already).

As i remember it, there's a big lot across the street...one of them is school bus parking, and the other one looks like a gardening area. I'll drive by tomorrow after school (ugh, first day) and i'll see if it's a house or not (ie: if it's on the left side or right side).

what is their new address? if it's anywhere in the los angeles county area (esp. here in the san fernando valley) i should recognize the place. I go everywhere when i'm bored...so i recognize many places

heh, and i didn't even know that the right side of the freeway was still considered arleta...(we broke off from pacoima since it has a bad name).

back-up directions: if you want to have the houses on your right side (so you can go slow or whatever and not have to do a u-turn), you can take the exit after sheldon (branford). make a right on branford, then right again on laurel canyon (you will see a ghetto tire store on the left corner.

that address is their mail box. steve has a couple different places where is motors come and go from. the one i picked my motor up from is in chatsworth. he has yet another larger warehouse in sherman oaks. your best bet is to just get ahold of him and set up a time to meet. he's a real friendly guy... he'll do his best to help you out. he is also real busy tho, so expect to leave a few messages for him... ive found the best time to get ahold of him by phone is late afternoon, early evening.
