Default Condenser Fan Question

Is there a place to add fan oil to the Condenser fan? Mine is spinning pretty slow these days, causing the AC to overheat in the daytime when im sitting still and making it turn off. Which leads to a VERY HOT car. I need to fix this ASAP as im starting school on monday and am going to have to drive at different times of the day for different classes in miami traffic.

its an electrical fan, you dont add oil to it. if its spinning too slow then its not being powered properly or its failing. check the voltage with a multimeter, if thats good then replace the fan.

i guess im going to have to

And most electrical fans have oil in them. Because basically all fans have bearings. When the oil gets out or burned up then the bearings cause alot of friction making the fan spin slower. its happened many times with my computer fans next to my high performance high heat parts, cheaper bearing (sleeve) fans tend to fail. Where ball bearing and Hydro bearings or Maglev bearings stay alive. Most big fans are the equivalent to "sleeve" style bearings as long as its direct drive and not by a belt, etc.
