Default Speedo compatibility

Hey guys , Can you put a speedo with a tack from the LX sedans and SI's into the DX etc? are all the clips on the back the same? will the tach work?

i believe the general rule is 88-89 work and 90-91 work, but mixing and matching between those groups requires some rewiring/re-pinning of plugs. I think there are also differences between the auto and manual clusters that cause issues.. but i am less sure about that.

I can personally confirm that the 91 si to 91 dx cluster swap works flawlessly, plug and play.
