Default Gas in my oil?

Hello,

So i swapped my VC last night and i noticed immediately after taking it off, that the oil smelled heavily of gasoline.

I checked the dipstick and the oil is really thin and runny, and the stick reads over the full dot.

Just wondering what could cause this, and how to fix it.

If anybody has any experience with this kinda thing, please let me know.

Thanks.

I've also got this, but I think I'm running a bit richer than normal since I've already fouled 3 plugs in 400 miles. I'm not burning oil though.

Yes it is burning oil, and smoking pretty bad.
Also the valves tick really loud, i was told a valve adjustment would fix that?

well, there's your answer. your rings seem worn.

a valve adjustment would most likely fix that. when was the last time a valve adjustment was done?

overkill, huh? when you drive a motor that revs to close to 9k rpm's daily, i think it's a good idea to check your valve lash within that amount of time. it's your motor, so you can do what you want. Honda recommends checking the valve lash around 15,000 miles or so, but i'd rather be more safe than sorry. in my eyes, there is no such thing as overkill when it comes to my motor. there is no harm in checking the valve clearance every 9-10k miles.
