94 civic ex brakes on 91 civic si
hey guys, i just swapped in 95 civic ex front brakes into my 91 si, and it seems as tho the front passenger side is wobbling? it didnt do this when the brakes were on the ex, the driver side looks kool to me and doesnt wobble at all. i also switched over my forks and shocks/coilovers onto the car, just looking to see if anyone else has done this and could help me out with this TIA
Curious about this - I have read that the EG/DC/EK knuckles differ in height from the EF/DA.
From my understanding putting these knuckles on will give a lot of positive camber which really isn't safe.
Maybe your car is dropped really low and you were able to get back some negative camber?
Have you gone in for an alignment?

yeah it does camber out alot, and no alignment yet just did it yesterday, but only reason why i did this was because of convenience, i got a wrecked ex in the garage that ive been taking off parts of and putting them on my hatch, but i guess i should go with the da brakes, is there any reasons why this wouldnt work? besides the obvious? thanks again for the replies guys
and no, the car isnt dropped yet, just put gc/tokico blues on there from the ex as well, and its sitting at stock height =X just wanna see how the ride is at stock height lol
Or you can look at my FS thread and keep your suspension geometry to EF specs with EX big brakes. DA's will also give you positive camber, just not to the extent that DC/EG/EK knuckles will.
so da knuckles will still give positive camber? but just not as horrible? cause mines looks like the wheels are gonna fall off, but if im planning on dumping the car anyways it wouldnt matter with da knuckles right? cause itll just correct itself... hopefully ::crossing fingers::

DA knuckles work fine. if they give any positive camber, it's not noticeable at all. They are slightly longer than the EF knuckles, but it's like 5mm. Not enough to cause problems.
just had another question then guys, would it be possible for me to changeover my calipers and rotors from my ex brakes onto my si hubs? will that work or will the bolts not line up? TIA
