Default super hard brake pedal

So my lil bro got a hf with a b16a2 in it. I went to go test drive it and the brake pedal is really hard with no stopping power. So I brought it home adjusted the rear shoes because they were way out. Bled the brakes at all 4 corners starting farthest away from the m/c. I checked all the lines they are not swollen or leaky and there are no leaks anywhere.

Didnt change a thing Still really hard pedal what are some of the self diagnostic test I can run the the booster in my driveway?

Do a booster check.
FYI - if the brake are hard then you shouldn't need to bleed.
When brakes are soft and squishy then it's bleeding time.

easiest way to check the booster if the vac line is hooked up. pump the pedal a few time and hold it when its stiff. Next while holding the pedal start the car. if it drops a little bit its should be fine. if no drop than replace.

There is a little plastic inline valve on the booster line.
Could it be possible that you removed it at some point in time and put it in backwards?
