Default Coolant Disappearing

93 Civic EX

Just did a complete swap to a D16Z6. Currently my car is losing coolant and random speeds. Sometime I can go a week of daily driving and make it without losing coolant. I drive 30 minutes on the highway and I get the needle rising slowly and this occurs randomly as well, as sometimes I can drive about 150 miles before it starts doing this.

What I know so far

No oil in coolant, I just changed the oil and no coolant was in the oil.
Fan works
All Hoses are good.
Water pump I believe is good (how do you know if a waterpump is bad)
No loss in power, runs great and there is no white smoke out the exhaust, or water coming out. (HG blown would give these signs.)

Sometimes I can smell coolant burning.

I check under the ride, and my transmission flywheel shield, there is coolant dripping slowly from it......

How can it get into the transmission like that?????

HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED AND THANKS IN ADVANCE.

could be water outlet or head gasket seeping, also the bypass hose that goes to the intake could be leaking

Yeah coolant isn't getting in your trans. Check the lines on the back of the head... IM to water pipe by thermostat, FITV lines, IACV lines. You could have a leak back there, causing coolant to drip on the exhaust and giving you that smell.

The exhaust does have a white discoloration on the top of it. I am gonna diagnose it tomorrow. I hope it is not the HG cause I just put a new one on and I did it correctly.....Probably a hose cause those have been loosen when I did the swap.... crosses fingers until tomorrow morning when I can get to the car.
