I've tried looking for threads on this subject, but have not been able to find anything recent on this subject. Will like to install the climate controls in a bottom audio console I got for my eg. Any advise will b greatly appreciated.

If you extended the wiring, everything but the temperature control will move easily. The temp control is a cable and may need tweaking, idk, never tried moving it.

The temp control would be the hard part. In the location you are talking about it might have to be shortened a little. You could probably just cut the end off and rebend that circle at the end. But there is also the little clip on the dash that it attaches to. You'd have to relocate that most likely.

I'm removing all the heater **** in my EJ1, just haven't gotten my lower audio console yet to maybe try a relocation write-up before I junk the ****. But I think just rewire it, mount it in the audio console. Set the temp slider to hot and set the heater core to hot. See how much difference in length there is in the pull cable and modify it from there. But again you will likely need to relocate that clip that sort of helps guide the motion of the cable when sliding the slider.
