96 accord suspension problem have a question
ok here goes i have a 96 honda accord i like it low ive had tien coilovers and now have d2 1 piece coilovers the problem i am having is a banging only in the front when hit a decent bump thought it was the suspension so i switched but same problem thought it was the control arm hitting the top of the wheel well so i cut out a slit for that not smart but still same problem to low im guessing but anyone knows somthing i dont please let me know thanksssss...

thats what i thought but the new suspension i bought has a seperate height ajustment and alows the shock to have full travel at all times i dno thanks thoughhh
If it's a really hard metallic hit, then I suspect the struts' piston shaft is hitting against the bottom of the shell (whacking the compression valve assembly). Continued use will probably blow out the strut.
