Default 2 ect sensors on my b16??

im confused, i have a obd0 b16a and im told that any obd0 engine has the ect sensor on the back of the block next to the oil filter, mine has it there and also has one on the thermostat housing like the obd1 b16's do... and whats the white sensor under the vtec switch with a 2 prong plug? im throwing code 6, and my fan wont kick on.

OBD0 B16s have the cooling fan switch on the back of the block and OBD1 has it on the thermostat housing - it has a 2-wire connector with black and yellow/green wires - the coolant temp sensor for the ECU (which gives you code 6) is on the distributor end of the head - it also has a 2-wire connector with red/white and green/white wires - the sensor for the temp gauge is also on the end of the head - has a 1-wire connector with yellow/green wire

not sure how or why you would have 2 fan switches but i would just use the one on the back of the block since the original wiring is going to be back there anyway.

doesn't matter which fan switch you use - what matters is that the 2 wires going to the fan switch need to be black and yellow green - the 2 wires going to the ECU temp sensor on the end of the head need to be red/white and green/white - the wire going to the gauge sending unit on the end of the head needs to be yellow/green

jlicrx- im doing a b16 obd1 swap into my obd0 integra and have extended the grn/yellow and black wire to the thermostat housing and added the appropriate plug end.

now I am wondering what to do with the grn/white and black sensor that attaches to the back of the block on my b18. i believe its the oil temp sensor but it doesnt seem to have a home on the b16.

also I was wondering if you knew if i needed to wire the knock sensor on the back of the block up or not. i am using a pr3 chipped ecu.

lastly i have a clip on the wiring harness that is connected with a white/blue and a black/white wires with cream plug. it appears to attach to the back of a stock intake manifold but i am running twm throttle bodies. any ideas?

any help appreciated. thanks
