Default clutch line replacement

I have a 94 ex w/ hydro tranny. The rubber clutch line that is attached to the slave cylinder(its about 6 inches long), is leaking. Well I ordered the line from honda. But when I tried to change it out, I used all my strength on breaking the couplers off(with a 12mm and 10mm wrenches, which are the bolt sizes holding the couplers on). But I started twisting my metal clutch lines before I starting breaking or budging either of the bolts. Idk if there is some like secret or something thats keeping it from giving. Anyone have an idea?

Did you try using two flare wrenches with a scissor-like squeeze action to break the nuts loose?

Too many.

I see you already addressed the flare/line wrench and PB Blaster solutions. The one-handed squeeze action of two properly placed wrenches should be the final bit of needed information.

Those also may work, but the flare wrenches will reduce the chances of stripping the nuts.
