PISSED .... FML please help
so I overtorqued my last rod bolts by a few ft lbs I torqued them to 54ft lbs instead of 26ft lbs , so I was intsructed to get new bolts as that is something I dont wanna re-do. so I ordered these , and someone on here told me they would fit , and low and behold they dont , they have caps and bolts I need a one piece. anyone have any idea how I can make these fit or how to get replacement bolts because summit did not have what I need obviously , I had the 8740 one piece , only onther thing on the bolt is a -02 on them. I am so angry right now I had plan to drop in the motor saturday and now I cant and I have to ship the back if they wont work somehow. if my rods had flat end tops I could but its only flat on one side.
please help.

part number for the new ones is 208-6401 from summit

no I have no idea what rods they are , they are made by SYSC who makes rods for tuner toys and a few other people so Noone has a part number. I called arp but they said its probably a specific bolt that arp only made for these rods . and I dont have a stretch guage to see if I did indeed stretch them. aaghh I am frustrated.
after an *** ton of research I found my part number got my bolts ordered , now we just have to make sure they are correct when they come in. I love summit racing they got my **** to me in 2 days from cali to missouri but god damn their service techs are ****ing MORONS , and ARP was some redneck mother****er who was a complete ***.
today has been a bad day. boooooo! time for a Schlitz and a cigarette.

heh sounds like missouri to me man. anytime i go to an o'reilys they're asking me what v8 i'm running. when they hear 4 cylinder they get pissy. poplar bluff = teh suck.
All you need to do is size the bolt. The end of the ARP bolt will tell you what kind of bolt to get strength wise and most of the time size wise. Then you will have the same bolts you have.
For Example

The other side of things is you could have those rods machined for probably $20-25 a rod and use the bolts you got. I have done this before as well way back when I was a cheap ***.
