Default 1985 Honda CRX Si - Mugen Replica

I posted the build thread a long time ago, but for those who havent ever seen it,and just some shameless self promotion, here are some pictures I took yesterday afternoon.

9 piece Mugen street kit replica done by Jamie of Houseman Autosport, CF Mugen spoiler replica by 5150 Autosport, Genuine 14" Mugen MR-5s, Genuine Mugen SW4 steering wheel, and soon to come genuine Mugen spoiler badge, current emblem is a resin replica.

There are a few other mods, and many more planned. I have a big pile of aftermarket goodies ready for the car as soon as I secure a proper b-series engine I will be doing a swap and a full suspension rebuild.

Pics were taken with a cheap Nikon P&S 10mp camera.
I will be having a professional shoot done and make a run at some magazines once the B-swap is done.

Pics:

Looking forward to your coments!

Awesome. Never noticed the little beak in the front panel before. Fitting some black grille mesh ?
Always think of these in white.

Well a first gen ZC is not easy to find. Not to mention aftermarket support is very limited.
A b series just makes a lot more sense, and power. I also have all the stuff needed for the B swap, other than the engine itself.

Im not sure what to do with the grille opening. I really dont like the look of mesh. When I do a b swap I will be removing the A/C compenents and I will be trying to make that opening look better. Some type of mesh may be used.

Yeah white is the quintessential color for the G1 Mugne CRX, but my car was blue stock and I wanted to keep it that way. Its something different and I like the subtlety of black on blue with the wheels and decals.

Thank you to everyone else who complimented the car.
Ive got a ton of money in this car with no end in sight! Would you believe by the time im done ill have around $20000 in it?

True, true. It would have been pretty impressive though.

Hmm how about some ABS plastic honeycomb mesh.
