So yesterday during the middle of the day my roomate and I were at work. We live in an apartment complex in a good area and cops patrol our parking lot every 20 min. and keep an extra eye on our cars(my roomate builds there cop cars).

Supposedly every one and there mother's were home yesterday but no one heard or saw anything.

Just another very shitty situation that my good friend who is always there for everyone when they need him can't do anything about.

After my friends car getting stolen it's making start to debate on selling my integra..
I can't sleep at night because my car sits in the same parking lot as my roomates once did.

I love my Integra.. And I went through crazy **** to get it witch gives me history with it.

If I sold it I would still be in the game but I would just pick up a less looked at honda by thieves.

What would you guys do? Or does anyone in the Chicago area have some garage space they would rent out?

Another car: if you want to switch cars, get something that isn't a Honda. Unfortunately, in Chi-town EVERYTHING is on the radar to some extent, Hondas just happen to be very popular. There are a lot of fun cars out there, stressing about theft isn't worth it to keep a DD Honda IMO. Unless it was a total POS, I won't ever consider a DD Honda again just for the theft factor.

 

I've been looking at storage units that are going to run me about 125 a month. So anything less then that. and GPS and alarm and a couple of other little things are going in this weekend(everything I can do).

And I like an idiot decided to sell my honda beater because I missed driving my Integra, since it was sitting for 8 months(it doesn't see snow, or roads I feel still have salt on them).

If I got in a fist fight with Mr. Honda himself and he whooped my ***, I still couldn't walk away from Honda's.

 

Once its in your blood... Hard to walk away from.
My first car was a 77 accord. Loved that car till a crazy driver decided to t bone me.
Kept the engine and transplanted it (hybrid) into a 75 civic hatch... This was back in 1981
Been driving hondas, and acuras since i learned to drive.
I dont hear about elements getting stolen too often???

As far as a DD is concerned you have a roomy sedan like chassis with rubber mats everywhere. Cleaning out one is a snap
