A buddies car(90 CRX with B16A swap) is having issues. I guess he will start it up and take it down the road and within a couple of minuets it the whole electrical will cut out the power back up repeatedly in almost a cycle. He claims the whole power system and not just the ignition.

Before I go up and try to help out just curious if anybody has had a similar problem? Or maybe some ideas I have not thought of.
