ok so i bought my car 3 weeks ago its a 1988 honda civic i got it for $700
and i love it
right now its only 4 speed and has 242,xxx miles on the engine

i am a full time student and am working full time at minimum wage and have twins so its gonna take awhile to get it finished but it will get there

anyways i wanted to make a build thread about my car so you guys can see how it comes along anywhere here it is

when i first bought it




next to my other car


got some H.I.D.'s for it (20,000k)






then i blacked out my tail lights


then i went to Laughlin and some idiot security guard rear ended me



just a pic i like


built a box for one 12 (makes my windows shake)


put a different head unit in and a Mugan short shifter (don't mind the mess i've been working on it)



^^^my friend gave me a steering wheel he had just need the hub thing in one of the pics

That sub box is huge! Is it built anywhere near spec? Or did you just ghetto build it?

 

i think ghetto that's way to big all you need is a single and you will be fine

 

yikes, please don't make it anything like the focus. HIDs are way too blue IMO

why the 20,000k HID's?

 

20k hid's is like a black light.. how do you even see at night...

 

looks good clean what are your plans for it

 

cause i love my head lights i want them even more blue soon it will happen


and my plans are for it is to be on the front of a magazine one day

that box is big..but my was bigger..lol...i have a 15" and the box sticks out like 5 INCHESS higher than my rear seats...

 

Damn. My boston g5-12" box that I built to factory spec is only 1 cubic foot...

Ported or closed box?
Ported works better and always requires a bigger box.

new front bumper and back bumper
new fender and new side moldings
and i am buying my rims monday
