89 Honda Civic STD engine swap
I just finally got the car today.
it has a hole in piston (SMOKES LIKE A BITCH) so I'm doing the Si motor swap
I have or going to have soon....
Si motor
Si Tranny
Si ecu
Si resister box
Dx to Si step by step DPFI to MPFI
AM I MISSING ANYTHING??????????????????

That sounds like you have it all... just go slow and solder all of your connections when you are rewiring... because if anything ever comes undone from using tape you will be pretty mad while your looking through the whole harness for the problem. Do it right the first time. And make sure you replace the basic maintenance items on the D16 before you put it in like spark plugs, wires, timing belt, water pump, any gaskets that need to be fixed... and then you should be set.
i also have a 89 civic std .i am converting my motor to mpfi.but i have seen three different diagrams that dont say the same thing .do you have a diagram or something you can email me .thanks. longwhitey@yahoo.com
fourthgenhatch has step by step diagram for mpfi conversion! thats what i used when i did my friends car it works pretty good. good luck man!
