they both have differnt kinds of bushings with them that u can buy , just keep in mind that if its a daily driver your gonna get alot of cabin vibrations from the mounts its gonna feel like your car is vibrating apart

Has. "street" mounts rattled the inside of my homies 90' sedan pretty bad. Careful on what you wish for...

Hasport > Innov.

I have exsperiance with both mounts(currently have innovative in my EK) and would reccomend the Hasport quality.

As for stiffness even the hasport street mounts are very stiff. lol

if you truly want extreme stiffness, you can get either brand in solid mounts.

Yeah I agree has > inno, but I haven't heard to many bad things about innovatives quality, so I guess it comes down to how much you want to spend.

I see you guys like Hasport, but which is more streetable.. (Less vibration) for something like a commuter/weekend track car.. As less amount of vibration as possible, but still a good mount.

its a case of quality vs affordability... as far as the bushings/inserts i think you can choose how stiff you would like them to be from either brand.

Innovative offers the lowest durometer. 60 vs hasports 62.

I have installed the hasport street mounts for a few people and driven the cars, I really thought it was very streetable. A lot different then the full race mounts.

i believe in hasports quality, its just a name though. ive read about 2 people haveing their mounts break which were hasport. one had their driver side break the other had his tranny side break. their just a name no matter how expensive they can still have problems. by the way i bought the stiffest innovative mounts they had, thanks for your input guys.

I love the innovatives, and they're the only ones who gave us prelude guys love. Hasport was pretty dick.

That's cool. I just don't want a lot of vibration, dash rattling loose, etc

At the moment I'm only going to replace the rear motor mount and I'm gonna try the innovative rear mount with the 62a bushing. I'll let you guys know here in a couple days.

Let me get this straight.

You created a thread, asking for advice on mounts. Not one person suggested Innov. over Hasport, yet you went with the cheaper option??

Just another waste of topic/time of knowledgable users/web space...

both mounts will vibrate. just go with stock if you don't like the vibration.or maybe consider inserts. even with inserts you will get alot of vibration.

I have innovative 65a or 70a mounts in my 92 gsr and it took some getting use to. But very firm and stiff motor.

I have used both mounts in the past and have alot of input on both. Now I used the Hasport 60a and the Innovative 75a, and out of the two the Innovative gave little to no vibration although it was 75a, whereas the 60a Hasport made me feel like I had an old car lol. The Hasport mount held the engine better than the Innovative during drag racing, but the hasport rear mount ripped open during a spirited drive down the road . The innovative mounts all ovaled out inside the bushing causing the bolt shaft to become loose . So all in all they both have their good sides and bad sides.

I have the inserts and there's little if any more vibration than stock. Biggest difference I noticed was the reduction in wheel hop.

Now clean rice, you know people don't ask questions to actually learn something. They only ask questions to "confirm what they already know"

This thread can serve as a comparison between the two.. So IMHO, it's not a waste.

Maybe I'll add it to the faq or something

i agree jimmy.
most people are going to say hasport because of the reputation and or experience.
i was just interested in peoples thoughts on either mount. the guys at innovative were helpful. i did purchase hasport shift linkage with some energy suspension shift bushings.
thanks to all who replied.

so Hasport is better at race time and Inov. for daily right?

but the 62a Hasport are acceptable for daily as I can read, and good in engine response so I think thats fine
