Default CB7 behind bumper

I removed my front bumper on my '90 accord to install a lip, and noticed a black plastic box on the passenger side about the same height as the washer fluid box, I beleive its part of the old intake( I have a cold air now) should I remove this for better air flow? thanks.

how can u have a cold air if that box is still there?...u need to remove it before the cold air intake is possible i think you have a short ram but yes remove it it should be the box on battery side under the bay

ok, thanks. ya, sorry i get in the habit of calling it a cold air, but its just a short ram.

yeah you can get rid of that and all of the other stock intake components that are causing a cluster **** in your engine bay
