I have a 1991 Honda CRX dx with a D15B2...so the problem im having is when i drive the car around 3500/4000rpm it like starts to sputter and my tach goes krazy swaying from 4000 to like 8000rpm..its not to bad while in neutral but the tach is still noticeably off. i thought it was the dizzy cap, so i replaced that and it fixed it for a little then went right back to how it was running...i guess maybe its missin or a short.. Can use some help Thanx!!

 

i would check your grounds near the thermostat and head lights.

 

Just went and checked all the grounds...defiantly not that.
**** is missing hard!

 

what about your plugs and wires?

 

thats my next check...new plugs and wires... hopefully that fixes it..
im on scavenger mode right now haha no job..

my car had the same problem. its the dizzy. i replaced mine, problem was over.

 

a whole new dizzy? cap, rotor, coil? or what..

 

Someone told me earlier today that my timing was too advanced..so im to try that tomorrow!
