Default iacv problem...i think, someone chime in!!!

ok, i got all my other problems sorted out, cleaned and adjusted the fitv and it idles fine and dandy, but now, when i hit the throttle it just sucks in air really hard through the top hole in the tb, thats iacv right? well ive already cleaned it and tested it and the actuator thing inside works. so now, what do i need to try. ive had this problem before but cant remember how i fixed it. oh, and no codes...

look in the FAQS for the "how to fix your idling woes" it explains those air passages in the TB.
and whats happening anyway.

top hole in the throttle body? there is a larger opening for the hose that goes to the charcoal canister and then a smaller vacuum line which goes to your map sensor. assuming your still running an obd0 tb with a firewall mounted map.

oh gotya. well yes the top hole inside the tb is for the iacv. it should suck air in quite a bit, but only while the tb plate is closed.

yeah i know, but when i hit the throttle it bogs hard and sucks air loudly and will die unless i let off, it will rev up to rev limit if i do it really slow.
