Maybe he isn't sure which wire is which or where it is located. I'm sure he also knows they are not real carbon fiber, just help the guy out jesus. It doesn't help him out telling him your opinion if they are real or not. I wish I knew how, or I'd tell him. Hopefully, you don't think this is a useless post, because then Matts would be also. Figured I would put my 2 cents in because that seems to be the trend.

Well, unless they're custom-made... they're most likely going to look like this:

As for the wiring, give us some colors for the wiring in the mirrors, so we're not clueless as to what you're looking at. I would imagine the colors are either red and black, or white and black... but again, I don't know.

 

If that's what those mirrors look like... you'd be better off keeping the stock ones. Those things are hideous.

Spoon doesn't make a thing specifically for 7th gen civics.

 

Nor will they ever, since they've written the chassis off entirely.

That, and the EM2 never existed in Japan, so for them to work with one at all... they'd have to import one.

 

@toyomatt84 - I see your point, if that's the case then it will surely suck.

We never had any support from aftermarkets from Japan. I heard that this is the worst model of civic in production with lots of problems, idle drop, etc.

 

How about adding a step by step DIY install for 01-03 or 04/05 Civic POWER mirrors w/side LED turn signals to the FAQ's, maybe showing how to hook up the turn signal lights to the mirrors, removing the inner mirror triangle trim panel and 3 bolts,etc? Anyone? The links for other installs on there seem to be pretty helpful. This one seems overdue.
