Cant get her running
ok so i have a 89 si crx that i just took the a6 out of it and installed a z6 with a cam in it.i used the stock obd0 harness and switched out the injectors and re-pinned the dizzy so its all hooked up to the obd0 harness.it wont run it tries to start but just wont.i have tried everything that i can think of, ive replaced the fuel pressure regulator, checked my fuel pressure coming from my fuel pump and its perfect, and im also getting spark.ive also switched out the injectors from obd0 to obd1 and it still didnt work, i did the same with the a6 and z6 dizzy.the car just has me stumped so i was woundering if anyone could help out.thanks alot
what distributor are you using, and what ecu are you using? You should be using the p28 on the z6 with an obd1 distributor. An obd0 distributor will not work with the p28, if that is what you are using.
i did have the z6 distributor on it with that stock a6 ecu then i swapped the distributors out to the a6 so i guess im going to put the z6 back on.thanks for the help hopefully it works
you should NOT be using the a6 ecu or the a6 distributor.
you should be using the z6 p28 ecu and z6 distributor.
you also need to use the a6 injectors with the a6 resistor box. the z6 injectors will not work unless you remove the resistor box and wire everything together, which is just a huge waste of time when you can use the stock a6 injectors without having to change anything.
