Default Remote start turns on alarm...

I had an issue in the past where the car alarm would go off if I remote started it armed. Well, one of the wires came loose on my trunk trigger and I noticed that it worked fine after that.

This weekend I reattached the wire as it showed my trunk light on 100% of the time. Now the car alarm goes off again. I have 3 triggers on the 5901 viper for that connection. I believe it is the tilt sensor, doors, and the trunk. The tilt and the doors are dioded but I don't have the trunk on a diode. Would this have any reason for it?

Also, if I disconnect the battery backup, it works fine the way it is. I originally thought it was a voltage issue because when the car cranked, constant voltage would drop from 12V to about 7V. I figured it was causing the sensor to set the alarm off as if someone removed the battery cable.

I think I'm going to diode it anyway cause it can't obviously hurt it but thought I'd ask the opinions of better suited people first.

If you have more than one wire connected to the instant trigger (the blue wire on secondary harness), everything needs to be diode isolated.

There might also be an issue with your ignition input.
