which one is the best?
the Skunk2 have about 2" longer runner as the Euro R
is that better for midrange or Top-end power?
at the moment i have a full portet Euro R with Skunk2 Pro2 cams, but the power is not so good
VTEC change 6900rpm-> too late, but bevor we loose power
Max power 8000-8600rpm (red line 8600rpm)
Power at the moment: 281PS/267NM
but the engine is normaly good for more than 300PS!
maybe someone have good infos for me ?

Personally i dont think the skunk2 is worth the money if you already have a ported type r
i would stick with that one.
the reviews ive read on them say even a stock euro type r perform better than skunk2
my .02 cents

Read that thread. The Euro-R made the best overall power, while the Skunk2 held the power longer. There are few graphs (the Op deleted most of the dyno pucs) but there are enough words and pics there to answer all of your questions

thanks a lot for help and infos!
i canot set the VTEC sooner, because the VTEC profile loose power
the engine is stronger with the NON VTEC profile until 6900rpm
i have the PRO2 cams with full portet CNC head, 70mm TB, Hytech long-tube header and 70mm exhaust system, cr 12,0:1
i tuned with the camgears, but there are not big diferent
so i think the problem is the runner lenght?
can i calculate the runner lenght?
which cam need which lenght?
Pro2?
Pro3?
Crower3?
......
i can test the Crower3, but i think that is not much better

not a bad thing does power drop at 8600 or are you not comfortable with the revs? maybe your a wee bit overcammed?post the dynograph! tells alot, also the tuner has alot to do with outcomes

your having 240ish whp and your complaining? what's done to the bottomend? what's your altitude, seeing you live in austria?
get on a track and really find out what your engine is doing.
track tells power, dyno is just a tuningdevice.

damn.... i didnt realize those cams brought in that much air. you would think that setting the vtec at 6k rpm would be reasonable for the h22. but almost 7k, wow. yet another reason why i will take the pro 1's over the pro 2's for my daily driver.

The Euro R manifold its better, its more Midrange and usable power i haved Skunk2 and when i swicht to Euro R i see decent gains in Midrange and better powerband, so i prefer the OEM EURO R MANIFOLD, here its de comparison SKunk2 tuning vs Euro R no Untuned.
ny setup its
Crower 3
hytech replica header
3 inch exhuast
68 TB
