Default Lug nut issues Muteki SR35

i just got some drag dr-23 16" flat black wheels aka slipstream look a likes. however the problem is the lug nuts i bought for them, muteki sr35 don't work with them. they fit the wheels but the key locking device is too thick/big and will scratch the wheel to tighten them.

does anyone have suggestions of thinner lug nuts that are closed ended, a similar length of 35mm or so, red in color, and cost less than $60?

thanks.

a thought came to me. if i could make the key socket thinner by a few mm's it would fit. is there anyway to shave down the metal? any type of shops that could do this for me?
