Default Removing boot off the half-shaft

i got an h22 that im throwing into my EG and the half-shaft i got still has the boot on the pass side, i cant seem to see how to get it off.. if i look inside it looks like there is a cap in there. Is there a pin.. or c-clip or something i have to pop? thx.

the boot has that silver tie on it, u have to pry that apart and replace it with something. i used a giant ziptie and its been holding up fine

on that strap tie there is a clamp. you break the clamp with a flat head screw driver or something of that nature. i would replace i with another clamp not a zip tie.

They have some really nice zip ties nowadays! Expect it to leak a little unless you use a real clamp. Even the OEM clamps leaked a tiny bit.

are you guys talking from the rubber to the metal boot piece that touches the Half-shaft?, cause im talkin bout the metal piece *boot* that connects to the Half-shaft.. ill post a pic, i dont think im explaining it right. ty for answers so far.
