jdm B16a with 12:1 compression. bigger injectors???
OK, so this is my first post but I have used the search feature on this forum for years and I really appreciate how helpful everybody is.
for this question I have searched the entire site and cannot find a proper answer.
I am building a JDM B16A with 12.0:1 compression pistons stock compression is around 9.4:1 I believe. I am aware that I will have to use high octane fuel. But will I have to use bigger injectors? if so, how big?
thank you for your help

What does your build consist of? Your stock injectors will be fine up to 200-210whp depending on fuel pressure. Your tuner should be able to show you the duty cycle of your injectors on the dyno when he's tunning it. With a good tune you can run 12:1 compression on the street provided your running 93-94 octane(east coast). You compression probably isn't even that high though.
Spend your money else were with your build.

i am doing a full rebuild with new pistons, valves, water pump, oil pump, bearings and seals.
do high compression pistons require better connecting rods???

If you have an idea of what kind of hp your build will make, you can calculate whether your injectors will be sufficient at an 80% duty cycle (good limit).
What are you tuning with? Most good systems can idle fine with big injectors, so I generally play it safe and get a bit bigger than I will probably need.
