Default 2000 exterior door handle removal?

First post here. Looked around and could not find how to remove my door handle. I have removed the panel as well as the two 10mm head bolts, but handle seems to be held in by some metal backplate behind handle assy. Main purpose is to remove lock cylinder to take out foreign object inside. Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Okay, Found out that you can leave the 10mm head bolts holding the handle bracket alone. If you look carefully under the lock cylinder mech., you will see a radius of wire that is part of the clip that holds the lock on. So you unhook the plastic clip holding the lock arm rod and disconnect the rod. Then I took out the small screw holding the electrical switch on the lock and removed the switch. Then I took a small right angle type pick tool and hooked the wire clip under the lock and pulled down. The clip came out and released the lock set. You then just pull it out and you can work on it on the bench. Caution: The small c-clip behind the lock set holds the arm on but also the cylinder will slide out if you are not careful and the tumblers will fall out. BAD!! So be careful when working on the lockset. Good luck. Mine had piece of plastic nozzle wedged in it that I had to remove.
