Default 5 lug civic track width?

I have a JDM 5 lug on my 2000 civic hatchback and I am tinkering around with doing my own alignment. I've done it with a stock civic before but since I have the 5 lug on this civic I had some questions i need answered.

I got these numbers from http://www.internetautoguide.com/car...gra/index.html.

The track width for the front of the Type R is the same as the civic, but in the rear it says that it is (1476mm-1468) 8mm wider (4mm each side). I have always read that it was 5mm on each side here on h-t. Can anyone confirm this? Also is the track width on the JDM ITR any different? Any answers are greatly appreciated!

if they are measuring the track width from wheel centerlines then could this be due to the offsets on the typeR wheels??

The track width is 5mm wider in the front in the ITR. So with the ITR suspension on my civic it was still 5mm wider on my car also.
I checked this by lining up two strings to each side of the car. I first kept the strings the same distance from the center cap in the front and in the rear. Then I measured the distance between the strings at the front of the car and at the rear and they did not equal so it wasn't parallel, but I did find that it was about 5mm off. Once I adjusted the front 2.5mm apart the distance between the strings was the same.

For example, I set the distance from the front center cap to the string at 102.5mm (same for the other side). For the rear I set it to 100mm for both sides. Measured the distance between the left and right strings at the front and rear and they came out the same making it parallel.

Did my alignment and took it to my friends shop to check it and it was all good. Sorry for the semi extensive explanation, I just couldn't find any answers so maybe this will help someone!
