If you have a cheap header, then I would not expect tuning to net you many ponies. Therefore my suggestion would be to just get a piggyback like the VAFC.

look here this guy on ebay is selling used one for 650$http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...301510003r8365
Yeah, "rare as hell". No wonder.
Anyway, I'll stick with the suggestions I've already given. As for the "don't waste money on small gains" comment. That's just dumb.
VAFC-II ~ $100
PnP harness ~ $50
Dyno-tuning ~ $175
Total cost ~ $325
Power increase ~ 3whp
Annual savings from the 5mpg improvement ~ $375

If your focusing on a power increase there is a few high quality parts that work together well. I had my time with "bolt ons" when I look back it was a waste of money. The car is was barely any faster. If Honda-tech didnt ban Blake/98vtec I would tell you to talk to him about putting yourself together a nice n/a build. If your more concerned about gas mileage, just make sure you do your regular maintenance. The car gets decent gas mileage stock so... is a $250 tune +$xxx hardware really worth it?

Just shut up.
IMO, there are gains to be made from the factory settings on the stock motor. Gains in fuel economy and power. If you don't plan to do much to the car anyway, I say do it. If you have big plans, I'd wait, unless you have a lot of disposable money, in wich case, you can paypal me some.
I say get it tuned now for the mods you have. You should gain some power and mpg as mentioned. Then in the future, if you add more mods, you already have the hardware in place and you can just get it re-tuned for the upgrades. For those of you saying he should save his money for bigger mods in the future, what big mods is he going to do without getting it tuned then anyway?

I tought honda motor were suppose to be fuel economic...that them vtec!!its hard to stay out of it lolll how much shoud i pay for tuning?? 200$ 300$
