Default Valentine V1

I have been researching various detectors and jammers for a few months now, and I think I have decided on the Valentine V1. Just wondering if anyone uses this, or knows of any issues associated with the S2000. My search didn't turn up much information, but then again I suck at using computers. I am sure this must have been covered before, so sorry for my poor search skills. haha.

I have three, and personally feel it's the best but am probably bias.

I know this detector has been covered here before. And I know I have posted these links before... Check out these two websites for some great info:

As for laser jammer, I would recommended laser interceptor.

I have had my v1 for three years now, had a passport 8500 I think before that the Valentine is much better imho. Like White Smoke said its the best, I can't count the number of times mine has saved me.

I have never used it personally, but I have heard nothing but praise from http://rockymountainradar.com/. The RMR-8RD

But I have also had buddies swear up and down on the Valentine one as well.

I've owned radar detectors for the past 25 years. The V1 is the best. They'll be an occassional test that shows some other brand with a little better sensitivity or something, but you can't beat it overall. The arrows are priceless for the city and freeway driving. The thing is built like a rock also.

I don't know where you are hearing this praise from, but rocky mountain makes absolute JUNK! They tried to market a radar jammer for god sake, that right there should tell you something (if you know anything about radar).

They tested a RMR C430 here...

TOTAL CRAP!

Good to know Thanks for the info. Maybe there is the possibility that they have just been lucky enough not to get caught. lol

Thanks for All the info guys. Looks like a confirmation on the V1. A friend of mine uses a high end Cobra, and is really pushing for me to get one, but all the research is still pointing me to the V1. Thanks again.

Look at K40, I had it in my m3.. It mounts in the front and rear bumper and is hidden, in VA it works great since radar is illegal; just looks like a random volume button.

The unit is about 1500 though..
