Default People with helms HELP

ok people i have an 96 Integra Ls, i hooked up the purple wire from autometer to the PLAIN white wire going into the ecu. Now when i turn the car on it reads all the way rich. when i put it to drive and keep the brakes down it bounces from rich to lean and bounces back to rich. Did i hook it up wrong ? which damn wire is it for b18b obd2 ? BTW i did search and people say this wire and that wire. i need to know which wire is truely is for 96 integ ls.

JUST FOUND OUT in the Haynes the white wire in 94-97 ECU is for the ckp / cyp sensor. Don't we suppose to hook up the purple wire of the A/F guage to the O2 sensor ? 94-97 ecu the O2 sensor would be either the O2S HTC= orange/black wire or O2S= white wire. For 98+ the white wire= PO2S(primary) and Org/Blk wire=PO2SHTC. PEOPLE WITH HELMS can you back me up on that ? So are we suppose to hook it up to the O2S wire?

ok guys i hooked it up to the red/white wire. It does not bounce around, and it reads rich when i start the car, then it goes to stoich later on; but the funny thingis it never goes to lean. some times it goes back to rich. is is this right?

So is it supposed to oscillate back and forth, or is it supposed to stay steady on its reading? I want to know if mine is right.

hey autometer instructions "when heavy load it should indicate rich. at crusing it will appear to be bouncing back and fourth between rich and lean." WTF, i mean i did hook it up to the oxygen wire right? can someone look in the helms and tell me the O2S wire color for the 94-97 integras.
