spun bearing? bent valve?
ok.. i have an ls vtec. i missed 2nd gear and brought it up to like 8k. (8k rev limiter) then it died on me. opened the hood and found that a bolt made its way into the timing belt cover (i have not center piece) and it ate up like half of the belt. the belt didnt full break so everything was still in time. i replaced the belt praying to god that was all that was wrong.
got the new belt on and started it up and it viberates really bad, wont idle, and feels like its not runnin on all cylenders. bent valves? spun bearinbg???
HELP ME!!! im gunna go comperssion test now

If its a new motor VERY fine metal in the oil is common. But yea you probably bent an exhaust vavle. That sucks, Dont forget to lap in your new vavles when you install them.
Go through and make sure all your bolts are tight, use Lock-tite on bolts too.
