i recently got an 89 crx si for 800 dollars. well my problem is that when i turn the car on the right blinker light on the gauge cluster stays solid, i push the blinker and the temp guage surges. the guage just floats around when driving. and my gas guage is tached out. any ideas?

There is a fuse under the dash that has blown. Same thing happened in my CRX. Check all your fuses under the dash, I can guarantee one of them is blown that is causing the issue. I just can't remember exactly which fuse it is.

Let me see if I can find it real quick.

 

ok because i checked the fuses and they were fine.

 

check for water or corosion in the tail light harness, shorted bulbs as I had the same problem

 

i just said **** it and im rwiring everything from the headlights to the tail lights
