Hey guys I recently purchased a 1990 crx si.. motor runs great has 106k original miles with a ton of maintenance records. but anyways when i''m on the freeway going 70+ the car makes a vibrate noise and if i turn the steering wheel to the right it vibrates louder!? What can this be. car drives straight! I already changed the rim thinkin it was bent. thank you guys for your help.

Wheel bearing, when you turn to the right it worsens that should mean the drivers wheel bearing. Is that the side it is comming from?


To check your wheel bearing, jack up the suspected corner. Push on the top of the tire(12 o clock) and pull the bottom(6) while your facing the wheel. so your push pulling on the tire/wheel. if you feel some play then that should confirm it.

Thats the first test i would do

Why the bump? Have you confirmed whether or not it was the wheel bearing?
