Looking for Manual
Hello all,
Does anyone know if the Honda service manuals include electrical schematics? and if so are they available to the public? I am planning on doing some modifications to the electrical system in my car, and would prefer to have some schematics to work off of. If I could find a "Full"(maintenance and schematics all in one) maintenance manual for a 2005 S2000, that would be great! Thanks for any help!
P.S. Once my car is finished, I can post some mod-schematics/ instructions if anybody likes what I done.

Anyone own a Helms manual for their S2000? Just wondering about the depth of information covered in these manuals (electrical and service). I am hoping to be able to do all my own maintenance in the future after a couple of bad experiences at my dealership. I do maintenance on aircraft for a living, and I am also a licensed avionics engineer, so I don't think I will have a huge problem with the work as long as the books are good and accurtate. Thanks for any input.

For late models, Helm typically sells both a service manual and an electrical troubleshooting manual for each model. The service manual has troubleshooting procedures and specifications for all systems and basic connector pinout diagrams, while the ETM has detailed circuit schematics and expanded pinout diagrams of all wiring harness connectors.
Most people don't need the ETM unless they're dickering with the wiring harness to begin with. Honda electronics are rock solid unless some hack has been screwing with the car.
Helm prints the factory service manuals for all Honda cars. When you buy a Honda manual from Helm, you're buying the same book used in every dealership service department across the country. It's about as in-depth as an automotive service manual gets. None of the cheaper manuals come close.

Also, you can buy just your year, or multiple years in the same manual. I bought the multiple years one because you can see how things change in the cars, and sometimes if you buying a part used, you can figure out if a different year works.
The Helms manual, which IMHO any shade-tree or hardcore mechanic owner should get, has circuit diagrams for just about every electrical component in the car. You should definitely get it, skip the ETM for now and see if it's enough for you.
Thanks for the replys everyone! I am gonna go ahead and order both, they are only 50 bucks each, if nothing else the ETM will teach me alot about the circuits in the s2000. I wonder if they break down the systems to the level of the logic gates etc.
