Default RBC vs PRC intake manifolds

Wondering what car a RBC intake manifold for the k20 comes out of??? I was told is was in the 06 Civic Si.... is this correct?

I have a DC5 and want to do the RBC manifold because I need to buy a new one either way. Is there a noticable gain between these two intake manifolds (PRC vs RBC).

Also, I know my throttle body will not work with the RBC. Can I use the throttle body of a 06 SI, or is it better to use an adapter plate.

THANKS FOR THE HELP!

RBC is from the civic SI yes

You cannot use theSI TB because it is DBW

You need to buy the Karcepts TB adapter and use your DC5 TB

you also will have to cut the rbc intake manifold to fit correctly onto your motor if u have a k20a2 k20a or k20z1 ...

and yes the rbc will give you a noticable increase in power ... i'd say a good 5 or more horsepower ... check out the new skunk2 intake manifold its suppose to have much better flow than the rbc and is direct bolt on.. u can also use your prb throttle body without a spacer...
