i bet its ur main relay. ur soldering joints need to be resolder and shud shud be good to go. it usually only happens when ur relay get to hot and cause ur relay to stick. ur main relaay is located by ur hood latch up in there. hope this helps i had the same problem.

Mine did the same thing until I replaced the main relay yesterday. I picked one up for $29 so it's an easy and cheap fix. Next time you get in it test it by just turning the key to the on position and see if you can hear the relay click once when you turn it on then click again when the CEL light goes off. If not then it's the relay. Just keep turning the key off and on until it clicks then it should start. At least mine always did anyways. Hope this helps. Good luck with it.

Yeah main relays like to leave you stranded like that. one way to test that i believe jhammond came up with, next time your car does this. take the main relay out and just slam it on the ground. put it back in and it will start right up haha.

You can also take the relay out and apart, inspect all the solder spots, they are a common break in our cars. Its a safe money bet.

While your buying a new one, pick up a fuel filter too. Sounds like you havent changed it in a while and they are really cheap and easy on our cars. Sometimes frees some power/mpg for like 10$ and 5 minutes work.

Ha I always just took my foot and kicked in the general area that the relay is mounted to basically do the same thing before I bought this other one and it really did work 90% of the time. Lol.
