Need help to see if these will fit my hatch...
Ok, i have a '98 Civic hatch currently on 16x7 +33 offset rims w 195/45's & a moderate drop(car sits right above the tire...tire isnt tucked in the fender w crazy camber), not slammed & they fit fine. no rubbing issues at all. i'm looking into possibly getting a set of 15x8 +32 offset wheels & wanted to know if there would be a fitment problem, like rubbing etc? i can always get wider front fenders/fender flares if there would be that much tire sticking out (btw, i'm looking at 195/45 or 205/45's), but what about the rears? i know anything is possible after seeing some of these super low offset wheels on EK's, but i'm not looking at doing major modifications to my fenders besides a slight roll or pull. if they'd fit the front & rear w/o major modifications, i'll get them. if not, i'm sticking w what I have. thanks for any help
No, you can't use 15x8 wheels on your car, and you're considering the wrong tire sizes too. For 15" wheels on your car, you need 195/55-15 or 205/50-15 tires. 195/55-15 can only be mounted on wheels 5.5-7.0 inches wide, and 205/50-15 only on 5.5-7.5 inches wide. Either tire size can't be mounted safely on 15x8 wheels.
Incidentally, on your 16" wheels, you should be using 205/45-16, not 195/45-16. And 205/45-16 shouldn't rub with a moderate drop, either.
