Default why my care steers left

i have a honda civic 2000 and i have noticed when i drive i have to grab the steering wheel otherwise it would steer left.
i asked a mechanic he didnt know whats wrong with it,
i checked the pressure changed tires infront and still no result,
can anyone help me with a solution
i am useless with cars u may think its a silly reason but anything for me is huge as i dont know anything about cars

ok before u get an alignment.. have u hit anything hard lately? any serious pot holes? any rough roads will screw ur alignment.. but if have hit anything hard ran into a cub more than likely you have suspension damge. if you hit a curb the outter tie rods are the first to bend.. if every thing is ok then yea a simple alignment will take care of it.. now ther is a difference in tracking. is the car PULLING or is it DRIFTING to the left. a pull is where you let go of the wheel and your car takes you right into a guard rail and a drift is where the wheel is let go and it takes some time and distance for the car to move to either side.. if its a drift and its very very slight then it is normal. most cars are designed with good alignment to drift left. to compensate for the crowns in the road. helps the drive straight with out any help from the operator.. let me know if you have any questions i can help you out
