Ok i found a 2006 S2000 in south florida for $20,992, and it has 28k miles on it. Its White exterior, but the interior seats are black leather with red leather in the middle of the seats. The MErcedes Dealership its at says it was a custom order from honda only offered that year. Any 1 know about this? the seats look OEM and bad *** at that. The car is perfect except for a little ding on the rear right wheel well. Just curious about the leather seats... i never seen them like that...

Any suggestions? i was thinking of a TSX until i found this puppy out there for a decent price. or so i believe its a decent price.

i have seen the two tone interiors in the older models. i have seen the black and red two tone in older white s2000's. but the red leather was in the door panel rather than in the seats. i have seen a lot of S2000's in my time and the two tone seats is a first for me...

 

ye i have seen the interior red including the doors and fabric under the seats as well...i just dont know what to think...i mean they look OEM, but i dont know... but it looks really nice as well...

what about the price? what you guys think i should offer?

ok co0l...that makes it that much better.... so you think the $20,992 they are asking is good? it has a clean carfax... im thinking of trying to hustle the price a little... save some cash so i can try to get some N/A mods...or maybe a hardtop...

 

offer them 19 out the door, 21 with fees and whatnot is pretty high. at least from what i see. the red/black was from the factory but i'm not sure if it was offered for white. i distinctly remember it being offered only to sebring silver. peanut butter and black interiors went to white.

and being that you're from FL i wouldn't be surprised if those seats/interior were stolen. run a carfax on the car, if theft or vandalism shows up then its not the original interior

 

Don't even think about getting the hardtop till you drive topless. Try to work the price down a little bit and say something about that dent. The car looks like a good deal online.

 

ye thanks alot... also the carfax said it was all clear from crash, and theft. But ye maybe he swapped the seats with a friend or something, i just hope they are OEM. Ye i need to go see it in person to judge how bad the dent is...the dealer said its minor, but i doubt he would say " the dent is insane...stay away" so i gotta see.... i need to sell my WRX ASAP before this one gets away.

Meant to say earlier that I also agree with the door panel/carpet comments above. Just because I've never seen an s2k come with just the black and red seats with the rest of the interior black. Usually it has the red/black door panels as well as red carpet or floor mats. Anyways, it may not have been wrecked or had theft damage but I would venture to say that the previous owner took it upon himself to swap the seats for whatever reason. day late a buck short but wanted to throw that in there.

 

just found out the S2K is discontinued...i was considering buying a new one... almost all the dealers in south florida dont have any... i found one in NC thats 2008 Gray with red leather..looking for a white one... anyone know any dealers with new S2K's? want to take advantage of the C.A.R.S. incentive with my 1995 Explorer

 

Too bad your not in California, particularly Carlsbad just north of san diego. Hoehn honda there had a brand new gpw with full red interior when I bought my used s2k from them. Still there as far as I know.

 

what year and which dealership? maybe they ship it to a local dealer at the same kind of owner... like maroone or Braman... let me know...

im in dayton ohio, all my regional dealers have s2ks, in stock, hidy has a white one,(Beavercreek) castrucci has a black one,(Miami Township) and a used red one with 13k on it, bill marine has a red one (springfield)

 

Only in 04-05... That was not even an option on 06+ S2000's

I can't see the pics here at work so I can't tell you about the seats for sure. However and I pretty dam sure you could not get red/black seats in ANY 2006 S2000.

Check to make sure the are even 06+ seats, they should NOT have a whole in the headrest.

The 06+ seats look like this: (And I'm pretty sure they didn't offer red/black till 07, and I KNOW you could get them in a white car (with matching door cards))

damn those seats are nice...but ye the doors are red too...the one for sale is all black except for the center of the seats... makes me wonder... i plan on going to see it with a week or so. So i will check it out in person... thanks again

 

06 GPW's come with black seats and black door panels inserts
07 GPW's come with black/red seats (pictured) and red door panels (White Smoke's pic)
08 GPW's come with full red front/black back seats and black door panels

the previous owner probably just swapped to get the red/black seats

and just for fun, to the best of my knowledge, in the US
00-01 come with red seats and red door panel inserts
02 come w/ all red interior including dash and roll hoops
03,04,05 come with tan seats and tan door panel inserts

i could be wrong, but i think all black was also offered in 2003

But in Canada, 2003 comes with all blue interior (including blue soft top), but pretty much every year come w/ red/black interior combo
not too sure about 08+ though...

ok i found a brand new white w. red leather at Bradenton FL dealership. Do you think its harder to negotiate the price since the car is discontinued? Its a 2009 and its listed at 34,595. What do you think the lowest i could get for this car? im going to do the C.A.R.S. rebate which would yield 3,500 and add 16,500. So a $20,000 down payment. I want to get the car as cheap as possible. Any success stories of you S2K owners out there on how to haggle the price?

 

34.6 is sticker price so yeah, they should be pretty negotiable.

 

If you walk in with a $20k down payment I'd say theyd be willing to work with ya.

I miss VTEC soooo much ! but i will miss my boost(wrx). oh well....
