bone stock 207whp 160tq h2b swap eg
hey jus got back from dynoing my completely stock h2b eg bubble. i must say im really happy with the #s i made. the car made 207whp and 160tq. this was made in 90 degree weather. a factor that held me back i think was stock ruber b series mounts. car was tuned and swapped by clo tuning. and was tuned using midnight autos dyno. heres what the swap consist of.
stock jdm h22
qsd h2b kit
removed butterflies and plate
rmf replica header
kaizen speed removed balance shaft
manaul tensioner
esp alternator relocator
b16 transmission
carbon syncros
obxr lsd
2.5 short ram intake
special thanks to clo tuning from project auto for doing the swap and tuning the car, and midnight auto for giving me an insanely good deal with their dyno and really good customer service!!!!!
will post sheets and possibly 1/4 time tomorrow if i go to honda day.
UPDATE: i went 13.9 with a 2.4 60ft at 103 mph on street tires ftl. hopefully by the end of this month illl have better times with new suspension and slicks.

thoes are some very good numbers for that H2B. 200 NA in a hatch is pretty quick and very nice tq numbers. yo0u plan on doing any head work?
ps i consider that stock since every body has at least a intake and exhaust

Not to burst anyones bubble but it seems like many of these h2b swaps are putting down high numbers. Technically the swap is not going to help on the dyno besides maybe 1 or 2 hp that maybe be gained from reducing the rotating mass in the trans itself. I brought this point up awhile back, were the gear ratios setup correctly on the dyno ? Because as we know hp is number is derived from torque and rpm. The difference in gearing between the h and b series creates a difference in torque multiplcation which can account for differences in dyno numbers if not accounted for.
BONE STOCK, meaning the block and head are untouched..unless noted..
When i had my itr, i always said Bone stock block, because it was nothing modded..
his term is correct.

thanks thats exactly how i meant it.
Bone stock too me is the way it came from the factory engine...nothing added or taken off.
Now if the title was "Pretty much stock h2b"....just not BONEEEEE stock
wow you morons expect a h2b car to have a stock friggin header/intake? GTFO if your gonna criticize the guy, this is a bone stock h2b swap just like he said, nice numbers OP, must be a riot with that trans...
Hmmm....so i can bolton a turbo kit and still be "bone stock", according to your description....since the head and block was "untouched"

you have a BONE STOCK MOTOR With a turbo kit, its a simple concept to grasp if you've graduated High school.
bone stock, as in internally stock.. bolt ons, such as headers, exhaust, intake, manifold, turbo kits all that **** is just what it is, Bolt ONS.
Anything thats done internally erases the title of "bone" stock"
So if you have a turbo kit on a h22 and nothings done other then the turbo kit..
its a Bone stock h22 with a turbo kit..
whats so hard to understand?
Yes.. exactly my point

Its just stupid to say BONE stock when its not.....i mean it doesnt make anything more impressive by saying that....just causes controversy.
Just saying, when people go for a BONE stock record in the quarter(Not just Hondas)...they cant pop the hood and have a header, exhaust, intake, parts removed....etc.....thats not bone stock in normal peoples eyes.
Bone Stock doesnt have anything other than factory OEM equipment.....its not that hard to comprehend really.

Bone-stock: An original, unmodified car.
Its a common term that some cant understand...or are trying to stuff there draws a little by expanding the term and looking more impressive i guess.
For what my car made, how fast it was, it was very unblieveable it was made all on a "stock" block
as in, original stock factory oem block, nothing touched..
thats how i read it.

Perhaps im too harsh, but it is what it is too me.
NICE numbers!
i agree with All Motor. stock to me means nothing internally has been done. even with a turbo kit. its force induction but still on a stock motor.
