well ericks racing uses a gsr motor with a ported gsr manifold and his car runs 10's. so a ported gsr manifold can be made to flow pretty good. im not saying that it does better than what a skunk could do but it obviously does pretty good to supply enough air to ericks all motor set up. plus you dont have to buy a new intake or buy a itr thottle cable (or rig the stock throttle cable).

I belive Ericks set-up is not the ordinary "port job", pretty trick proprietary info..........buying the Skunk maybe easier

ok...he runs a highly modified b-series motor...is that better? but im just saying that a ported stock manifold has to be fairly decent...so what if its a super-duper port job thats all secret or whatever, i think it shows that the manifold has some potnetial.

yea, he did check the hondata website. anywhoo... the techincal data for that setup is no doubt classified. dont expect the same results. who knows what they use now... that was a good time ago by now. bottom line is what do you like vs what do people tell you to do with your money. use what works, dont expect big gains from anything unless you tune the computer. this is seen by most honda tuners as the missing link for extracting peak performance from these engines.
