Default pulling a file from an ostrich 2.0

hi. question. using crome and ostrich 2.0
my friend has my latest tune file on his laptop
that is also on my ostrich. but it needs more tuning done.
can i pull the file from the ostrich if i hook it up to a dif laptop and go from there? or do i have to get that file off his laptop onto a usb and put it on my laptop.
he doesnt have time to tune and other people can but i dont want them to start from scratch.

There's a "Get" button in crome.

When you turn on Real Time Programming "RTP" a drop down will happen and you will see a "GET" button. Or at least I think that is where it is, its been a long time since I have used Crome.

you can read the file from the ostrich after its been plugged in by pressing the little chip looking icon on the top right of the crome screen then clicking "get" in the drop down box on the left under the "TABLES" option, then, after the file is loaded save a copy to your laptop by "file/save as" and dont forget to type ".NEW" at the end of the file being saved.
