I got them free for my typeS, front and rear, but i want to know how they ride on the ol' macphearson's before i take my time to put them on, bc i have some outdated spring compressors..

any previous or current stech owners lemme know!

 

Get you some koni yellows and you'll be happy! Don't drop it on stock struts.

 

they work fine, and you dont need spring compressors to put them on, the tophat isnt holding down the spring but just a tiny bit, u can physicaly hold it down and have a buddy take the nut off.they will blow your stock stuts over about 2 years on rough roads, or i have customers get 4 years on smooth as butter pavement. i couldnt be so lucky

 

hah, well thanks for the info. I guess i'll ride them till they blow because i plan on getting some buddy clubs when ever the wallet likes it
