Hi. I just had a compustar alarm installed with remote start in my 5th gen Prelude at a local dealer and I cannot get it to start via remote start. It will crank, but it won't start. Sometimes, but rarely will it actually start via remote start. Starts up perfectly fine using the key. Any help would be appreciated.

 

you may need to reset the tach. start the car with the key and push the button on the brain. if the lights flash it is programmed. you also may need to turn up the crank time

 

dont forget to have foot on the brake to reset tach.. u'd have to hold start button, but i'm unsure what alarm you have.. take it back to dealer.. again, if it cranks, then compustar is doing the job but not immobilizer

does your car have immobilizer? take that unit back for them to reprogramm or get another one.
