Cost no object, what is your favorite form of Forced Induction
Hey guys. I am fairly new to the board and thinking about purchasing a Newer Model Civic (or older model Supra) for my son and I to Mod. So my question is:
If cost were no object (i.e. if all systems and accompanying hardware cost the same), what is your favorite form of forced induction?/Why (just as important as the recommendation)? Choices:
Positive Displacement Blower
Centrifugal Superchargers
Turbos (state preference single or twin)
NOS
None (love hi-torque low revving SB or High-reving small displacement 4 or V6)
If you could have the ultimate setup, what would it be (i.e. engine size displacement/forced induction)? Remember, must be daily driveable?
If a Civic isn't the right foundation vehicle, then I am ok with suggestions of a different foundation vehicle and forced induction or engine setup.
Thanks in advance.

Honestly, unless your wanting to build the motor, a civic isnt your best foundation for forced induction. But if thats what your looking to get, id say turbo.
Both! Twincharger system FTW!
Positive displacement supercharger helping to spool the turbocharger.
(He said money was no object...)

FIRST- GOOGLE NICK HOGAN SUPRA WRECK!!!! I dont know you or your son but a Supra might be too much car for him and guys do dumb stuff (trust me i am lucky to be alive today)
Now a huge single turbo on a supra would be a fun beast of a car but it would cost a tone of $$$$$$$$$$
I would go with an OBD1 civic hatch (92-95) with a B18c (GSR) swap with a turbo. I have seen stock GSR's put out well over 400 whp. And 600+ on built cars. It all comes down to how much you can stomach spending on a car your will never be able to get your money back out of!
If you want me to give specifics PM me

I would do a 1957 Chevy (mild gasser setup) 572 BBC with a Quad-Turbo setup. Yeah, I am in my late 50's and that is still my dream car... one of these days... one of these days...
62 Nova,
383 stroker, fuel injected, twin turbo. Flat black...
Big slicks out back to aid in 40-50 mph wheelies when boost hits!
Or for a daily driver, a heavily modded Evolution would be nice...
