anyone know if the NRG slim hub for an EG fits on an EF? I've heard theres some modification, but im not sure what would need to be done.

it works you have to remove the piece that enables the turn signals to self cancel however.

BUMP sorry guys i want to know if the eg dc hubs have the same amount of splines as EF hubs... if not is there anyplay?? i wanna throw a WB short hub on but they are made for eg/dc, only NRG makes shorthubs for EF's

correct me if I'm wrong but don't the EG and DC models have a bigger spline? I felt this in a cr-x that was at the shop and it felt a bit scary. it would be like putting a hydro clutch on a cable tranny...seen it done before, has a bit of play but eventually the splines on the hub take a dump and the disc just spins.

but dont use the eg hub!!i have a spec d short hub off an eg on my ef

and now it wont come off!!my steering wheels crooked and cant fix it

unless u plan on keepin that hub on i wouldnt do it =]

 

did u get a steering wheel puller?

 

i used a momo hub from a eg in my ef.
worked fine and dint remove anything
